Mario Kart
EBGames has a deal going on that you can trade 1 of a number of mario games in and get Mario Kart Wii for $9.99. I found about the deal last night when I got out some money at my bank and decided to take a quick look in the EBGames store next door. My friend Geoff had purchased Mario Party 8 for us to play on my Wii awhile back, and it had proven less than steller (to say the least!) So I called Geoff up, and with his permission traded it in and got Mario Kart.
I haven't had much time to play it yet, but so far it rocks. It comes with a steering wheel attachment for the wii remote, and I was a little bit wary of how it would work, but now that I've used it, I don't know if I'll want to play the game any other way. It's a heck of a lot of fun, and the online mode is great (which is a fairly new thing for Nintendo.)
Even Victoria seemed to enjoy the game (I didn't even have to ask her to join in, she volunteered, which I think is a first for a video game.) Now I'm just hoping I can find a second steering wheel attachment.
