Hot, dark, and musical
I hope everyone’s enjoying cooler weather than we are here in Ohio. It’s 90 degrees right now and it’s supposed to get to 94 today and 95 tomorrow. Whew! Good thing the new air conditioner is working, it’s a beautiful 72 in the house! That was a worthwhile investment. It was nice at church today, too. You see, we’re adding on to our church and part of the addition includes about 12 new furnaces and air conditioners. Thank goodness they got them all running before summer started!
Speaking of church, this morning’s service was in the dark, literally. Apparently yesterday one of the lighting controllers caught fire and is now dead. Fortunately there was someone there, so nothing serious happened to the building. The problem now is that we don’t have any lights in the sanctuary! There are 11 windows, so we weren’t completely in the dark but some of the old folks in the back probably couldn’t read from their hymnals. J It was kind of fun, really, singing from memory.
I read on Mugglenet this morning that Nicholas Hooker scored OotP, so I went and listened to soundtrack.net’s preview of the music. It sounded great! They’ve all been good except PoA, which was a little too medieval for my taste. I can’t believe we’re only three weeks away from the movie release!

Okay, well, I guess it’s time to go and see about cleaning the house. Hmm, what else can I do to put that off?
