Back in the saddle

After a long period of absence, I have finally returned. Over the last month or so I have been training a new employee at MCCI which is going well. He is understanding everything and getting the hang of things rather rapidly so things look good. We actually went on a business trip a couple of weeks ago and everything went as well as it possibly could. Our flights were a little annoying, but that is because we did not make them ourselves this time. Next time, we will make our own flights.
I find that the trick to business travel is one part going through all the delays and airports a couple of times with all the mistakes, then one part strategizing based on that information what your best route is. It is funny, but I find that most people just barrel through the airports and flight with no real idea of no real forethought or preparation. Realistically, they would not go on a significant car trip without planning our a route based on weather and traffic. Or maybe they would that that is the problem.
Anyway, the trip was good. It was his first flight and the furthest he has ever been west (Milpitas, CA) so that was kinda neat too. It was great for me too as my eyes were surprisingly good and plus I learned a lot about Wireless USB testing.
House is still good. I have some modification to make when spring comes. I am now looking at wood floors to see what I can put in the front room. Right now it has nothing but carpet which is tough for people like me who are allergic to dust mites.
That is about it. I am back and back at class and back at Pete's and back at the Haunt. Sooooo, there you go.

house, work
