Quick update! I had a couple of days off for the so called holiday. I ended up getting an internet connection installed through Time Warner. It seems to work, but I can not get my Netgear Wireless Router to connect me to the modem. A direct ethernet connection between the modem and the computer works with no problem. My next step is to borrow another ethernet cable from work and try to connect through the wired router. If that does not work then I may have a problem with the router. I have already tried going through power cycle sequence suggested by Netgear and others, but to no avail. I think I may need to establish a wired connection before I can go to wireless.
Anyway, I have a couple of neat updates. First, here is an article a friend sent me that I really enjoyed.
