Disney's Sword in the Stone Arthur/Guinevere Comic: "First Meeting"
This idea hit me from nowhere: Disney's Sword in the Stone's version of Arthur/Guinevere, with allusions to BBC's Merlin.
Oh no, not off to a very good start, are they? Poor Merlin's got some matchmaking work to do. ;)
Note: I did not draw the entire thing. Most of this is just screenshots from the movie that I altered/manip'd to fit this story; therefore, the backgrounds, Arthur, Merlin, and Archimedes all belong to Disney. Young Guinevere, however, is my own design, but is based on the lovely Angel Coulby's Gwen from the show, Merlin. :)
Oh god, I have such...visions, it's not even funny. Between getting this idea and executing it, I made up volumes of stories for these two. It's a testament to how many times I've seen that movie that I can hear their voices so perfectly in my head, even when there's an entirely new character and new dialogues introduced to them. Unfortunately, it took me waaay longer to make this than I expected - and most of it was already drawn! so I don't really expect to continue with their tale. Oh, but I have such ideas to share... =(
