the Elkhorn Antlers??
I swear while driving around today I almost ran over about 10 different birds. How is that possible? They have wings for a reason...right?
Anyway, I survived this weekend just fine. Stop class wasn't too bad, besides the fact that it happened to be the day before my first road trip ever and they informed us of all the different ways we could die in highway accidents. Lovely. Jade's party was also really fun. After that I went over to Eric's with a bunch of other people to watch The Producers again.
Sunday Emma and I set off for Plattsmouth. Miraculously we only got lost a few times (and were able to get unlost fairly easily) and we only had one near-accident. I was driving along and looked away for a couple seconds (or maybe I was just watching the tailgater behind me) and then I looked back at the road and saw to my horror that we were heading fairly quickly toward some cars stopped behind a car that was turning left. I slammed on my brakes (they made a terrible screeching sound) and luckily we stopped a foot or two behind the cars. That was so close though. It scared me quite a lot. I'm pretty sure we made some skid marks on that road. But after that we had a safe drive back home. Emily's graduation was about 1.5 hours long and her graduating class was only about 100, so I'm scared to think how long the southeast graduation's going to be.
I'm so sick of not knowing anything about the events at my home school. I just found out on Sunday that I was supposed to pick up my graduation robe a while ago. Hopefully I can still get it or I'll be in some minor trouble.
