Leaving for Dubai in a few days. Apparently it's getting quite chilly there so I need to bundle up before getting on the plane. It's a good thing I brought back my good winter coat.
I'm excited! I arrive very early on Friday morning so my mom and I can head right out and go shopping. The Dubai Metro is partially open so I can take it to some of the shopping malls on my own instead of being stuck in the apartment, watching TV and getting fatter.
Last night I made a lovely chicken soup for dinner. Even my dad admitted that it was nice. I also got a sore shoulder from chopping up the vegetables but once I rinsed away the dust from our heaviest pot and boiled the veggies to bits, it felt a little better.
Here's my cat:
He has turned out to be a clone of his father, save the amber eyes (his father's were yellow).
