I have a point and shoot that is so much more practical than a DSLR. I'd like one for art shots, but not for casual use.

Ya think? I want one mainly to keep track of my lab work. I have a 5 Mpx one that produces okay pics except that the colours turn out... unappetizing. It's a pain shopping with my mom coz she only wants Canon or Nikon.

My Canon Powershot has 6 MP and it produces stunning images. Mostly you just have to play with the light settings and it'll come out perfectly.

Oooh I'm inspired now. What do you mean about picking setting? I tweak white balance usually.

I have scene settings, like sunny, fluorescent etc. that usually helps.

Figured I'd try to save you like $200 lol
