So I had been feeling increasingly tired and stiff the last few days but figured I was just overdoing it in the cleaning department (our apartment looked like Junkzilla had crapped all over it, seriously, so Friday and Saturday was spent cleaning like crazy) until I woke up yesterday morning and could hardly drag myself out of bed. As I was in the bathroom I looked over at my bottle of pills and went, 'Hmm...' Turns out I'd forgotten to take my pills for at least three if not four days in a row. *headdesk* I have no idea how I managed to do that. Maybe because it's become such a routine that if I do forget my brain thinks it has remembered, just out of habit. *sighs*
So yeah, my energy level is down to zero and I'm stiff as a ninety year old. And spending three hours at the ice rink yesterday did nothing to help. Even if I wasn't skating it was just so damn COLD! When we finally got home I stood in a steaming hot shower for twenty minutes then crawled into bed and slept for two hours. Rest of the night I spent on the couch, making hubby bring me Coke and candy while I watched Smallville and One Tree Hill. Today I'm not quite as achy but I kinda feel like a zombie. Everything is in slow motion and my brain keeps going into sleep mode. Of course when I get home we are having people over for dinner so no resting for me. *pouts*
Yep, my little girl is nine years old today. She had the birthday party for her school friends at the ice rink yesterday and then the relatives etc are coming tonight. We gave her a purple iPod nano this morning which she was very happy with. Hubby already put in some music and also High School Musical (OMG!) for her to watch. She was thrilled. Question is how long it will take before she either loses it or manages to break it. *rolls eyes*
