In all the hoopla the last few days I forgot to mention this. I got nominated for my J2 AU fic, The Doors Of Time, which some of you might remember, at the Salt & Burn Awards for best RPS/RPF fic. Yay! Snagged myself even a pretty icon/button.

I'm in the company of some pretty awesome fic, including the magnificent Your Brains Are No Match For My Tractorbeam by the amazing chash and the brilliant Someone You Might Have Been by fleshflutter which just killed me so good I still haven't left feedback for it. Seriously two of my favourite fic lately. So so good. (Be sure not to miss all of chash's timestamps for the Tractorbeam!verse. Every one of them a delight.)

I'm working on my Big Bang but it's going slowly. I've also started on my Spangel for grazieprego but it's like the third or fourth attempt and so far it's lead nowhere. Did get an idea in my head last night that I might try out. Then I'm working my way through the feedback to Doors which is also going very slowly. I'm only about 4/10 done. Also been podficcing The Doors of Time for my friend. Reading one chapter took a whole day (I kept getting interrupted), is a whole hour in listening and is so far occupying 2 GB on hubby's laptop. That's one chapter of twenty two. *headdesk* I know, once I save it as an mp3/m4b it will be a lot smaller but it does mean that while recording it will occupy quite a lot of space on the laptop. *sighs* I do sound better than I thought I would but it's still not Stephen Fry quality, you know. Mmmm, Stephen Fry. Man, how great would that be, to have Stephen Fry read you gay porn. I mean, he did audiobooks of all the Harry Potter books. The leap to gay porn is not that great. *g*

The apartment looks like a tornado went through it. Seriously, it's so bad you wouldn't believe it. The plan was to clean today and write tomorrow. Instead I wrote a little today, being at home with the sick girl (who is actually not sick anymore but we thought she should stay home anyway) and will probably spend tomorrow cleaning instead. My plans they are like Spike's, doomed to fail. But I have to get as much writing done as I can if I'm gonna make both the Big Bang and the Spangel deadline. Which are both May 1st, in a little over three weeks... I'm screwed, aren't I? *headdesk*

Ps. Sorry for being so dreadful at answering comments. I know, I know, I have horrible netiquette manners.
