(no subject)
Talking to my best friend who is up to ep. 15 of season one of SPN.
Her: Yeah, at first Dean really went on my nerves because I thought he was someone who was on Melrose Place and I thought 'Yeurgh, he's such a shallow actor' Took me a few episode to realise it wasn't him.
Me: *tight voice* Ok, you better get over that!
Her: Hey, chill. I wasn't dissing him as an actor...
Me: You better not be because... *goes on long rant about Jensen Ackles' extraordinary acting talents*
Her: Ooookaaay... So anyway, I think the other one is more my type.
Me: *grumbles* Yeah, whatever.
Lady, watch what you say! *cradles Jensen to bosom*
And:
Her: Why did you like ep. 12 so much? (Faith)
Me: Well, I have a thing for all the angst and emo and sex between the brothers
Her: Huh. Was it emo? Oh, I guess when he thought he was gonna die...
Me: *exasperated* Dean is a very interesting and emotional character and that's one of the first episodes where we really get to see behind the facade, like how he sees himself.
Her: I guess. I loved the next one though. (Route 666)
Me: Really? I'd say apart from the sex scene it has no redeeming qualities. Probably the worst one of them all.
Her: Huh.
I don't think we're watching for the same reasons. *sighs* But hey, at least she's watching. And apparently completely hooked in a "Don't wanna watch, can't look away" kinda way. *eg*
