(no subject)
I bought the cutest little notebook today. A5 size and looks like old leather. Made for porn, it said so. Ok, so it didn't but I'm sure it is anyway. And I bought a dress or tunika at H&M even if I didn't get it in the colour I wanted. But I decided to skip the shoes since they weren't available in the colour I wanted either. Who needs shoes anyway? *pouts*
Obviously our resolve to not spend too much money on this trip didn't hold very long. Ok, so it's not like we're buying stocks in Apple or anything but we are spending more than we probably should. Since, you know, every penny spent is a penny we wouldn't be spending if we were at home. On the other hand we don't have to buy food. We just raid dad's fridge and eat them out of their house and home. *whistles innocently.
But yes, spending too much. But it's all things we NEED, like really REALLY need. 12 new comic books? Yes. 2 new bags for me? Yes. Coffee and cakes and candy and ice cream? Yes yes YES!!
Mostly we've been buying clothes for the kids though. And they had money of their own from their grandparents that they've been buying toys for.
One day left and then we're leaving at an ungodly hour Sunday morning. Seriously, we have to be at the airport at 5:50 am since the plane leaves 7:50 am. Why did that sound like a good idea at the time? *groans*
