Figures that the day I decide to be economical and start taking the bus to work again the goddamn truck drivers decide to have a protest against the high price of gas on the main road and I end up stuck in traffic for over an hour. If I'd driven straight to work instead, after dropping off the kids I probably would have avoided it. When I only have about two hours in the morning to work on this damn novel I can't afford to lose over half an hour. Plus the damn bus was freezing and my toes are so cold I'm sure they're blue.
Dude, I hate the high gas prices as much as the next person but blocking the traffic to protest is just stupid and dangerous and it's just a matter of time before someone gets hurt. They're doing this without consulting the police or anything and there are incidents of people being unable to get to hurt or sick relatives because they're stuck in fucking traffic.
Stop taking out your frustration on us, you idiots. You wanna protest, go do it to the ones that can actually do something about this. Throw skyr at Alþingishúsið or dump manure in front of it. You know, like real protesters do. *kicks them*
