I now have Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 for Mac and am playing around with Differences Aside, using the instructions from Cafepress Publishing Learning Center (No, I'm not gonna publish it, obviously, since it's fanfiction, I'm just playing with the possibility of printing it and other stories out for myself to own)

It's all nicely explained but it's still a bit confusing. They offer a template for easier page set up and I'm not sure which one to use, Mass Market Paperback or Standard Paperback, both are in a 8x5 format, both are available for either 1-200 and 201-500 pages. So what is the difference? Looks like it will be somewhere around 180 pages, with the blank ones, if I use a font like Garamond or Baskerville and a font size of 10. Nevermind. I read it wrong.

Help?

Oh, and if someone could explain to me the difference between single or paired hyphens (-) and dashes (yeah I don't even know how to make those except they're longer than -). I didn't even know they weren't the same, I just thought Word kept changing them because.... Word is weird? I don't know, I never even thought about it. *is stoopid* But I'm looking at this article and apparently there is a difference, he just doesn't say what it is. *frowns* I'm not even sure it matters, I mean, it's not like I'm publishing Harry Potter or anything, it's just my own stuff for my own pleasure. But I'm curious. And somewhat of a perfectionist so...

Expect more questions later if this whole thing continues to confuse me. Which I'm sure it will.
