Giles story of looking at the bodies was heartbreaking but it all worked out in the end. Yay to happy endings. It's good to see them both so happy.

Thank you so much, sweetie. I am so glad Giles' story got to you because I wanted it to do just that, to really shock Spike to realise what he'd done. When you're a teenager it's hard to see beyond your own world, to see what effect your action has on the ones around you. He left because he was angry and hurt and didn't think of what it would do to his father, probably because in his stubbornness he thought his dad didn't care. And, you know, if his dad did feel hurt, well good. "Let him feel the same hurt I feel. That will teach him." And the longer he's gone the harder it is to go back, to admit that he did something wrong himself.

Ah, look at me, rambling again. *blushes*

Wow. WowWowWow. This turned out to be so much more than I ever hoped for. I expected a quick road fic with some naughty, i-just-met-you-and-will-probably-never-see-you-again sex, and instead I got a full-blown love story, complete with angst and silliness and, oh yeah- *really* hot sex. You never cease to amaze me. Thank you so much.

It was actually just supposed to be a short road fic but it refused to end. I seem to have a trouble doing PWPs, they tend to demand to be fleshed out into something more substantial. lol

I hadn't really decided whether to make Spike underage or not until Giles said it on the phone. lol Giles can be a scary man, when he wants to, but he is, in general, fair. Most of the time. lol
