Feeling insecure about my characterization so I'm watching Angel S1 ep.3, In The Dark, before I post my Spangel.
This episode is like a cookie jar of the best the Buffyverse has to offer: Angel, Spike, Doyle and Oz. My absolute favourite Buffy boys all together in one place. It's like an orgy of awesomeness. *nostalgic sigh* God, I miss them.
I remember reading a fic once, based on that episode, where they all got drunk together and there was sex. If anyone remembers it and can pass me the link it would be muchly appreciated.
[ETA. When do we hear for the first time that Dru sired Spike? You know, when they decided having Angel as Spike's sire was obviously way too gay. Because I'd forgotten Spike calls him his sire again in this episode. "I'm gonna stake me old sire right here and now," he threatens when he thinks the torture is going too slowly. Of course, he then says in Destiny that Dru might have sired him but Angel made him a monster, which was probably Joss' way of resolving the "Why did Spike call Angel his sire if he wasn't?" question. Whatever, we all know Dru was too bonkers to sire anyone. She might have bitten him but Angelus then drained and fed him. Because the story is so much more fun that way. *g*]
[ETA2. When your nine months pregnant best friend calls you to talk about how she's feeling and ranting about her mother and other stuff you can't really say, "Sorry, no time. Got porn to write." But gah! 40 minutes on the phone and it's now almost 11 pm. *flails*]
