Been putting my own family drama aside to read fictional drama.
tabaqui pointed this one out and it was so amazing I thought I should share as well.

Everything's gone to hell but Sam has a chance to make things better by making a wish. And so he does, wishes for his family to be alive and safe and for him to be the only one that remembers so he can protect them. From far away. Except, as wishes often go, it doesn't quite turn out the way he meant. Because he's not the only one that remembers. And what the hell is Dean to do, stuck in a four year olds body, with Mom and Dad that don't even know Sam exists?
It's sad and heartbreaking and at times very funny but yes, it's angsty as hell.
Gen (which is probably why I hadn't read it before *g*), spoilerish for at least S1, about 21.000 words so give yourself enough time.
