I've been trying to post this for over an hour and people keep bothering me. I'm really loving this! It's fascinating to watch Liam's illusions about the way the world works come tumbling down one by one. Hooray to Spike for helping him see his life doesn't have to be all about staying in the closet. I really look forward to seeing their relationship grow!

I have this idea of him growing up in a very homophobic environment, hence all his fears of being rejected if he ever comes out. I might get into that later. And then working in possibly one of the most manly professions ever...he's sure he'll lose everything if they found out. Not a nice corner he painted himself into.

Love that Lindsey is the redneck good guy, and friend (been getting a bit tired of him being the baddy just now). Yes this could show Liam that he would still have supportive friends if he does declair himself.

Spike is so unsure of Liam's desires towards him, then that is to be expected as Liam is no better. While Spike is not confused about who he is, Liam is so confused (and hurt), on so many levels.

LOL, I was in the mood for a good Lindsey myself. Maybe because I've been reading so many RPS involving Chris Kane as the good friend lately. And yes, he could help Liam see that not everyone will turn their back on him if they find out.

Both our boys are struggling with a lot of issues and so maybe not the best to pair up. Doubling the trouble. But in another way they are very good for each other, especially Spike is very good for Liam. Question is if he can shoulder everything that comes with having Liam for a friend/lover.

Loved this chapter. So sad with Liam looking through the pics of Billy. Was worried a bit about Lindsey, but love that you are making him a good guy.

Really like the scene with Spike and Liam back at the apartment and how relaxed it was. More soon please.

I actually had a much longer part of them going through the pictures but it didn't really fit in with where they were, which is why I cut it short. I'll probably use it later.

I'm liking Lindsey very much in this myself. He's gonna play a big part in future chapters so I'm glad people like him.
