I have such a soft spot for the name Will. I like to use it to show changes in feelings and situations. And the way Liam uses his name is quite different from the way other people do. Very very intimate. *hugs the boys*

aww, another great chapter. I'm glad Spike stood up to Liam in regards to being his dirty secret (god, Spike is always the dirty mistress isn't he? lol. poor guy.) and that things are more or less out in the open with Gunn, even though it was sort of accidental. *thumps Liam* idiot.

eeee, the sexual debacle. it reminded me of a big puppy doing something it shouldn't. you know, you have this like...german shepherd puppy. and it does something aggressive once, and it's kind of cute, so you tell it no, but you laugh and don't really act like it was doing anything wrong. and then it gets all big and does it again because you ignored the warning sign, and all of a sudden you're in a heap of danger.

weird analogy, but you know what I mean. Will knew something wasn't right straight off, but then he let it go when he shouldn't have. scary moment. man, Liam is so broken. *sighs over him* I dunno about that one.

Spike is in a bad situation. He's not hiding who he is but at the same time he can't give away Liam's secret because that's not his place. So he'll keep finding himself in situations where he needs to lie for Liam and by doing that he's lying about himself. And he hates it.

LOL about the puppy. I was a bit worried that people would get too upset, that it would read too much like rape, which it definitely wasn't. It's just that for four years the only sex Liam's had is with his hand and hookers. And he's treated them like shit, taking out his anger and grief on them. He's forgot how to treat someone nice, it's no longer in his instinct because, as you pointed out, he's not been disciplined by anyone for so long.

This Liam isn't a bad man but he needs help if he's not gonna become one. Think we're all betting on Spike for that.

I hurt for the boys. Liam is a complete mess and Spike is trying to find a balance with what he wants and what Liam can offer him. I'm a bit afraid what Spike will find when he comes around the next day.

It's rather messy, and going to get messier. Liam's fears are gonna fuck things up and I just hope Spike won't give up and decide it's not worth it.
