aww, I loved this chapter! I love the casual way Spike has insinutated himself into Liam's life, and how nothing Liam says gets him riled. I thought for sure he was going to get snippy when Liam insisted he wasn't an alcoholic but...nope. interesting to see him with a long fuse.

and the snuggling at the end. *heart* it was very bittersweet to read about Liam's sexual history, but really good to see that he prefers that kind of intimacy.

Spike is a bit like that stray cat you invite in for milk once and then refuses to go away. After a while you realise you don't want it to anyway because it cuddles so cozily on your lap. lol

Liam has got sexual issues. As in he's only had this one successful relationship (and look how that went) and he doesn't really know how to date or behave towards other men sexually. As we will see.

Raced over when you said that a new chapter was up, and I wasn't disappointment. Not that I'm ever disappointed with your stories. This chapter was wonderful. For one so young, Spike sure is a smart cookie and has Liam's number.

Loved the cuddling at the end of the chapter, and of course Liam's brooding. Who would Liam be without his brooding. His painful sexual past just broke my heart.

Can't wait for the next chapter.

Yes, Spike had to grow up pretty quickly and he's used to have to take care of stubborn drunks. lol He won't let Liam bull him around.

Cuddling is nice, isn't it? Sometimes I prefer cuddling to sex in stories, it can be a lot more intimate. Even if one of them is brooding.

Liam's crappy sexual past is gonna have its effect on them. Pretty soon actually.

I absolutely adore this chapter (and you for posting it...oh and for writing it too obviously! LOL!). I love the sense of familiarity and trust that's growing between them, and I love that 'friends with benefit' idea of Liam's. *nods*

Oh and that Spike threw his head back and laughed and Liam thought his heart might stop. Spike’s neck stretched before him, Adam’s apple bopping up and down as the hearty laughter travelled up and filled the apartment. No one had really laughed like that in here since… was so touching but...will you think I'm a bad girl if I tell you I find it hot too? I mean Spike laughing...*fans self*
