Oh my god! Where would I start! I’ve read this story sooo many times, and every time it takes my breath away, with the authors ability to ‘see’ the character, and bring him alive inside our heads. I could feel what Jensen was feeling in this story and it hurts every time, and brings tears to my eyes. Probably one of the best angst/hurt stories I’ve read in the fandom. The hurt, the beauty, the insecurity, oh my. AMAZING job!

This is a heartbreaking, beautiful and well written story. You can't help but be protective of Jensen and feel his pain. It's a tearjerker, but oh so worth reading or rereading for that matter!!!

You want kink? Felis delivers the kink and crams it down your throat with this amazingly painful, beautiful story. It's got RPS, twincest, underage prostitution and some tender moments. It rips your heart out and makes you beg for just a little bit more...which I've done...repeatedly. One delicious dark read.
As much as I love the honour and the pretty graphics what really got to me were the words accompanying it:
"Felisblanco always delivers with the Spangel angst, lust and drama that you know is so unhealthy and wrong, but nevertheless is just the way you like it. Closer doesn't disappoint its reader with delivering what we all want from our Spangel. Closer is supreme Spangel from one of the fandom's best known and loved Spangel writers."

Angel
There once was a vamp so broody
and terribly touchy and moody
his soul was all torn
old loves he did mourn
and his music taste was exceptionally fruity.
plus 2nd place for:
Doyle
There once was an Irish queer
Who longed for a vamp and a beer
Then he died as it goes
On Joss Whedon shows
and left us with grief and a tear.
and:
Connor
There once was a whiny brat
Sulky and vengeful at that
He did finally die
His whole life turned a lie
Forgotten at the drop of a hat.
But I didn't get a banner for that *pouts*
for:
Buffy
There once was a girl so strong
Who’d fought evil for so long
She was tired and sad
All the sorrows she’d had
And still no place to belong
plus 3rd place for:
Willow
There once was this wicked witch
Who could be both sweet and a bitch
Then her love was shot
By a nerd with a plot
To become both famous and rich.

Illyria
There once was a chick who was blue
She would kick poor Spike till he flew
Right into the wall
With clipboard and all
She had a God-complex, it’s true.

Tara
There once was a girl so sweet
The kindest you’d ever meet
The heart of the gang
So sweetly it sang
With happiness, then it ceased to beat.

There once was a demon, well ex
Who thought of little but sex
And making more money
To spend on her honey
The boy whose name starts with X.

Who was to boring for a poem

Spike:
There once was a ponce with a prick
Whose head was incredibly thick
He never used lube
'Cus he once lost the tube
And was to scared to buy some new slick
Angel:
Did you ever meet the young Will?
He never was much for the kill.
He'd cry like a girl
and all his meals hurl
and never his stomach could fill.
Spike:
Well, Angel was dull as a hat
til he went shit-insane as a bat
when he lost his good soul
pounding into the hole
of Buffy's tight little twat
Angel:
Now William he had those blue eyes
And could charm anyone with his lies
Though he never fooled me
I just let it be
'Cos he had those pretty white thighs
Spike:
He once was this pretty young lad
except that his hair was too bad
But where once he was hard
now he's all lard
I actually think it's quite sad
All of these, except the last one (obviously) are from something I called Character Study.
