Well okay, I had plenty of trouble with it but I never worried that the Jensen in my story being able to express himself non-verbally, to such a degree that he could easily make himself understood, would feel unbelievable. Not when I built the character on such an exceptionally expressive person.
Actually one of my favourite written sentences in a fic was "If Jensen had been born in a different time, he would have been the star of every silent movie sporting an Oscar." Simply because I believe it to be true.
