Went to a party last Saturday and have been sick since. Apparently they were serving the plague. (Just kidding, vampyran. It was a very nice party. And fun! Despite the resulting plague. ;))

Anyway, instead of being productive and working on my MA-thesis and the Doors timestamp I've therefor spent my days this week curled up on the couch under my duvet, knitting and watching Banshee. (Who else is watching that? So brutal. So much porn. And fucking kickass female characters.) I'm a sleeve away from finishing a whole sweater. Well, a sleeve and the shoulders and neck area. I love the colour though, mossy green. It's actually more like a coat in length but it's knitted from very wispy, un-spun yarn so not really a coat.

Oh yeah, I had to cancel my reading at the hot tub tonight. Being outside for an hour in the cold when you already have trouble breathing and there's snot and stuff leaking everywhere, not a good idea. Oh well, it saves me having to shave my legs. Also, I started my period two days ago so not really in a hot tub mood anyway. I felt bad for letting the other girls down but I'm honestly so relieved I'm not going because I was kinda dreading it. I have another reading on the 20th, normal setting inside where it's warm and no one has to see me in a bathing suit. *crosses fingers the plague will be gone by then*

Still have 6 days to finish that timestamp for Doors 5th anniversary on the 21st so don't worry, I'll make it. I only have one final scene to write and then some editing and stuff and it's done. Don't think I'll manage to finish the other one as well though. I wasn't sure I was happy with it anyway. We'll see. Maybe I'll get an energy burst in the next few days.

The anniversary is on Friday. The only day of the week I'm actually busy but I think I have the evening free so I'm thinking I'll celebrate with perhaps a glass of wine, posting that timestamp and maybe even cake. Yay for anniversaries! (I know it's silly to celebrate the anniversary of a fic but I don't care. I love that verse and all the characters in it. *hugs them*)
