Quick question

What's it called when at like a rock concert the singer or someone else in the band throws himself into the audience and they carry him through (or rather above) the crowd? I'm pretty sure it's called something specific, I just can't remember. Help?

Went to a concert last night where there was much crowd surfing. I stayed up in the balcony--I'm too old to be lifting people over my head. Plus the mosh pit was pretty intense. Fun to watch from above, though!

Also, stage dive? The actual stage diving part, anyway, which leads to the crowd surfing...
