Am having a shitty day. Just got back from the doctor who told me exactly what I didn't want to hear, that I have the flu.

mr_felis's 40th birthday is tomorrow and we had plans for the whole day. As it isn't enough that I feel like hell, now I feel bad about ruining everyone's day

Oh honey, what a shite day :( but you know what - you didn't get sick on purpose, so not your fault, ok? And as for the publishing house, whoever read the novel was an imbecile x the rest of it is just Same Shit Different Day (ssdd), and you will get through today, have a sleep and pick back up tomorrow. But until then, have a very large glass of wine and say f**k you to the world!
