I'm (re-)reading this short story by Raymond Chandler called So Much Water So Close to Home and there's a Kane family with the mother-in-law having been called Candy when she was younger. So now I want to read a story where Chris Kane hooks up with a girl called Candy and the guys tease him mercilessly about her becoming Mrs Candy Kane

True story. I once worked with a girl named Candace Kane. She was a ditzy blond and I think the only reason she was hired was because my (male) boss was intrigued with her name.
