Every time I log in and get the welcome page I cringe on behalf of LJ. "Did you know you can now easily add a photo to your post?" When was the last time they updated that page, seven years ago? At least. *facepalm

Why does your cat do that? Perhaps she has a health problem? I had a few cats and they only peed in their litterboxes.

Well, she's not really... normal. She's scared of her own shadow and a few years ago she decided she was afraid of the litterbox because it had a 'house'. So we took the top off to make it easier for her. But then her mother started doing this weird thing were she shoots her butt outside the box and drops everything on the floor. *headdesk* Since cleaning off the floor the few times the younger one doesn't just do her business outside is easier than cleaning underneath the litterbox every day (or it really starts to stink) we put the top back on and just try really hard to make sure there's nothing on the floor for her to pee on. But this time the kids had knocked some shoes off the shoeshelf, all mine of course, and voilá! *sighs*

Wow, I was smiling away, so happy for you, and then the "cat pee" event. Great build up, great climax, great story telling! lol! Glad it's all going so well for you! ;)

ps Two cats, no pee; but why does one over eat then vomit??? Repeatedly! Why, why, why???

Sorry for the cat pee incident. Odd how they prefer some things to others, usually the things you like best. It's a gift and a curse.

And yay for the crits! Of course they were raves. Who would expect anything else?

I know what you mean about compliments. They're somehow just better when they aren't being said directly to your face.
