Am having a small No-more-work-woohoo! and Yay-I-got-into-Uni! party tomorrow (Does it still count as a party if it's just your siblings? Well, we do drink and have lots of fun together so let's say it counts.) so we've been tidying up and trying to make the place look at least half respectable

glad its not just me who has the washing machine crap out like that on them, lol my machine went and flooded the harry potter cupboard under the stairs the laundry and the garage ...and seeing as we had some of the stuff I still hadnt unpacked from the move in there... lets just say IT SUCKED BIG HAIRY MONKEY BALLS LOL...

I always see my friends on LJ talking about school and uni and think I am way to old to be friends with these people. But I'm guessing from the rest of your post you're a mature student? I feel a bit better now.
And if it makes you feel any better I just tried to make a bacon sandwich only to find that my grill has stopped working. The light came on and 5 minutes later I came back to find still raw but slightly warm rashers under the grill. Arse.
Oh and I stepped on my £95 GHD straighteners this morning while rushing to get ready for work after getting up late with no sleep as the pike's next door were having their usual friday night gang-bang. At least that's what it sounded like through the wall.
Maybe a little schadenfreude will brighten your day some.
