TGIF
Just woke up from a two hour nap. *is groggy* Being out in the sun+cold weather=Felis sleepy.
I bought sexy jeans yesterday, on sale for only 4,999 ISK. They're black (they didn't have them in dark blue like I wanted) and even if I washed them before wearing, my hands and of course thighs are all grey-ish now. *makes a face*
Main reason I went to the mall though was to get out of the house since the fridge repair man, after 6 weeks of non-fulfilled promises, finally showed up to fix our fridge. He's a teacher at the school and I just had no interest in small talking to him for two plus hours. So I left him to hubby (muhahaha!), called my best friend and we went jeans hunting. My only other pair ripped two months ago and I was getting really fed up with wearing my skirt. (Yes, my wardrobe is appalling. Example: I only own like 5 knickers, none younger than three years, the oldest two pairs bought at Victoria's Secret in Boston before my daughter was born. She's eleven now. Oh, and my only two decent bras keep popping the wires out. I've mended them so many times they look like a quilt. I really need to buy myself a new one. *counts money* *sighs* Maybe next month.)
I am so tired of being skint. I'm almost 40! Shouldn't I be all money savvy and own my own house and yacht and whatever by now? Instead I'm about to be an unemployed student again. Well, you know, if I get in. (It's been 5 weeks! Just tell me yes or no already, okay? *is getting really stressed*) This is definitely not how I pictured myself at this age twenty years ago. For one thing I was supposed to be all thin and gorgeous by now. That didn't happen. Also, twenty years ago I actually did own a pony so... Step backwards on the whole expectation scale.
Anyway...
With the winter shows all wrapping up (haven't watched Bones yet, don't tell me anything), what's gonna be on TV this summer? Doctor Who, of course. White Collar I see starts June 8th. Warehouse 13, right? Any date set on that? Leverage? Isn't that a summer show?
I feel there should be more, I just can't remember. Help?
[ETA: I just found a three inch chest hair. On MY chest! I'm a woman! What the hell? Thankfully it was too blond to be visible. Still. Chest hair!]
