I think... Yes, I definitely need a BBC Sherlock icon. Any suggestions on where to look?
Funny, as much as I loved the RDJ movie I don't really have much interest in its characters when it comes to fic. BBC Sherlock on the other hand? Oh hell yes. Not to write though, I think I'll leave that in the hands of much more capable people. Like right now I'm pleasantly shuddering my way through wordstrings The Paradox Series (Sherlock/John of course). Her mad-as-a-hatter and utterly charming Sherlock is a delight to read. Every peak inside his head has me shivering. So creepy and still totally adorable. And her John is just as amazing.
Talking about Sherlock Holmes, I'm at the moment reading The Sherlockian by Graham Moore. Only about 1/3 in so don't tell me how it ends if you've read it. So far it's quite entertaining. I have it on my Kindle so I'm reading before bed and during my lunch (half an)hour at work. It's about a murder at a Sherlock Holmes convention and a Sherlock Holmes enthusiast who's trying to solve it, mixed in with Arthur Conan Doyle himself trying to solve a mystery of his own. I guess the idea is that you might have written the man/read all about him but that doesn't make you him. Or does it? Will read on to find out.
Also, I just watched The King's Speech. Pretty damn good. Would be very slashable if Geoffrey Rush was just a bit prettier. Sorry, Geoff, but I really don't fancy imagining you naked.
