Xmas knitting.

Meep!

My list for Christmas knitting projects is getting mighty long:

1. Mom - owl mittens. Done!

2. Youngest sister - Couple/love mittens. You know where you can hold hands inside one big mitten She has a new boyfriend (a 6'7" red-haired Scottish basketball player). I figured love mittens are just the right kind of embarrassing. *g* (I did contemplate knitting him a very large willy warmer but I figure she might kill me if I do.)

3. Oldest sister - bone decorated legwarmers (She's a bone specialist, it seemed fitting. *g*)

4. Her husband - beanie ETA. Done!

5. Their 3 y.o. daughter - pixie hat. Done! Well, almost. I have yet to crochet the edge and do cords. And a flower for decoration. So, uhm, not really done.

6. Mid sister - haven't decided yet

7. Brother - beanie ETA. Done!

8. His wife - camera mittens. (She's in art school and takes lots of pictures and videos)

9. Their 9 y.o. daughter - skull beanie

10. Their 3 y.o. son - haven't decided yet

11. Best friend - either a sweater (a very easy fast knitted one) or camera mittens as well because she's an amateur photographer. She has very sensitive hands though so I'm not sure if she can handle them. She really only wears fleece mittens. *ponders*

12. Her husband - beanie (all the guys will get the same kind just in different colors.)

13. Their 10 y.o. daughter - skull beanie

14. Their 3 y.o. son - haven't decided yet.

This is just my family that lives here and close friends. Not sure if I should include hubby's family. His sister is a much better knitter than me, I'd feel a bit intimidated, I think. Not going to include dad and that side of the family either. They'll get something else.

These are all fairly fast to knit, I think. Not too worried about not making it before Xmas. I'll probably kill my hands but hey, we'll save money on buying Xmas gifts. Thank you, Ravelry. I've been damn good at finding cheap but not too bad yarn too. And it's a bit more special than buying some cheap crap for the same amount of money. Right?

knitting, x-mas
