Yeah, here's a very funny article about the Batman-is-gay scare of the 1950s.
For those who don't know, a well-respected psychiatrist named Wertham accused Batman of being part of a plot to encourage homosexuality in kids, on the grounds that Batman and Robin were "a wish dream of two homosexuals living together" This freaked out DC, which went out of its way to heterosexualize Batman.
Anyway, the panels from Detective Comics in the article are hilarious.
