Should have updated last Friday
to tell everyone where I was going to be over the weekend!!! SCOTLAND!!
My eldest and his lady got married yesterday! I was there - IN PERSON!! Mind you it's not something I want do again in a hurry. Travelled all day from here to there on Saturday, had bad night due to sharing bed with daughter (not really her fault, just couldn't get used to the bed), spent Sunday watching son get married and enjoying myself. Almost midnight before we got to bed with a 4am wake up on the cards!
Than of course I had to travel back today - 9+ Hours! :( Trouble was that even though the wedding was fun the two way travelling was not, and to top it off Hubby had a hypo whilst I was gone, as well as got himself all knackered out trying to do everything himself. I never realised just how much I do to save him exerting himself! It doesn't help that since they took him off Lisinopril and put him on this low potassium diet he has trouble finding his appetite. Having to fetch and carry dinner plates etc. has put him off eating even more than ever.
On the plus side of the weekend I got away from household drudgery for almost three days and gained a new daughter :D
