Pirate is not a leper after all!
I've been thinking these last few weeks that Pirate must be a leper because no one wanted to deal with him and a new power chair :S Today however he finally got a positive response from some guy in Surrey (I think that's where he is). He is coming tomorrow to sort Pirate's prescription (measuring him and finding out what he needs in a chair). Fingers crossed he will be back on the road soon.
Especially as today I ended up walking to and from Tesco to do shopping as he 'stole' my scooter to go with me :D Oh and the guy (a nice man called Leighton) said if the paperwork goes through but he can't get the chair by the 16th June then they will loan him a chair. He needs to go to the hospital on that day to have an ultrasound scan on his liver because of all the diuretic tablets he is taking.
Meanwhile in other news:
Elflady is much as usual except that her legs are really, really bad :(
Swampers had no phone as it broke so he hasn't chatted to us recently.
Jesus has been busy at work and arranging more trips abroad.
Reaper_monkey will be on his own from about two weeks time as Jewel has got a job in Essex that will pay her double what she is earning now.
Enticing_thorn is doing well both as an editor and in her weight loss and C had last week off so she had daytime company too :D
Khipmunk got himself a tattoo for his 20th so from now on I will refer to him by that! It's 'Furiously Life Like' in lovely font on his left forearm :D As a 20 yr old he deserves a more adult name in my lj ramblings :D
Finally I am missing Alfie real bad and Pirate is already talking getting a new dog - not sure if I want one so soon but can see myself getting another dog one day.
