The Temple of Horus at Edfu
Click to viewHorus and I were not particularly close, but he is family, and I am glad that he is not forgotten and his great temple at Edfu still stands. He achieved a great victory there - the name Edfu comes from the hieroglyph Ebdu, meaning victory, for it was there that he overpowered Set in the form of a pygmy hippopotamus - and such a deed should not be forgotten.
The mortal technology has done quite well in reproducing the temple, though of course it is not perfect. And the music... it brings back memories.
