Oh jeez.
I just realized that while, technically, my mother is an agnostic... in terms of what was practiced and preached... astrology is my family's religion. I am not even kidding, you guys.
Every person I meet (and definitely every guy I date)? Mom demands to know their birthday. Every politican, public figure or person we discuss? Inevitably, she'll say they did something because of their star sign. And I can't tell you how many times she's told me that I do/think/act however I do because I'm an Aries.
Then I point out to her that, actually, I'm a cusp and so it could be the Taurus in me instead.
Guess that's the bullheadness coming out.
We've been doing this for 22 years. I'm a little ashamed. Why do I remember all the elements, fixed/mutable/cardinal and the genders, moon and sun, but NOT MY SPANISH VOCAB? :(
