Blah Blah Pairings Blah
Random factoids about myself and 'ships in Animorphs that I'm going to pretend people care about:
- Before I went on the 'net to hunt for spoilers, I was convinced that Rachel/Marco was going to be canon and Rachel/Tobias would be the subtext couple. Imagine how much I squeed when I found out the truth.
- I am a closet Ax/Rachel shipper.
- Sometimes I really want to write an Ax/Loren because I think it'd be interesting, and can you imagine the angst?
- I think I would like Marco/Tobias a lot more if people didn't write Tobias as this weak wimpy kind of guy. After all, they are the two characters that I have the easiet time buying as bisexual. It's just that in my head Tobias doesn't act on those feelings because he had Rachel, and he doesn't feel the need to be public about his sexuality. (Okay, and I think Ax's human morph is bi, but I don't want to get into another crazy discussion about alien sexuality.)
- I love Rachel and I love Marco, but I'm always a little sad when they get paired up, because I think a real romantic relationship wouldn't (and maybe couldn't?) be as strong as their friendship. R/M is 100% my One True Friendship. However, I do think Marco's one-sided crush is canon. They are Buffy and Xander, don't even deny it.
- I can't for the life of me figure out why people never pair Cassie up with Tobias or Ax. Especially Tobias, because I can see a lot of potential for that after Rachel's death.
And now I end this silly entry and go back to my graphic arts assignment. Ta.
