I'd like to thank everyone who filled in while Bell and I were indisposed, especially considering how busy the Hatchery has been lately. Aside from the sand everywhere, I seem to be no worse off for my experience.
For the new arrivals--my name is Bastet, and I'm the captain of the Hatchery Guard. In addition to guarding the Hatchery and temporary housing, we assist the Sphere at large during emergencies. I also own a clothing store in the Bazaar--we tend to give newborns discounts, or make alternate arrangements if you're low on funds. I wish you the best settling in.
Also, does anyone have any ideas for baby-proofing a house? A curious young man I know is a frequent visitor, and can't seem to keep his hands off anything.
