I just wanted to give people an update on the investigation into what happened at the bookstore.
Unfortunately, there were no witnesses. There was no debris found in or around the crater, and there was no damage to the surrounding buildings. After analysis, the soil from the crater showed no trace of any explosive agent, and its chemical composition was simply that of burnt soil.
In short, we found absolutely nothing to indicate what might have caused the explosion. There was also no explanation for how an apple tree sprouted from the crater by the next morning, nor how it grew so quickly. If you've been by there recently, you can see that it's almost fully grown by now, after barely two weeks.
