Just so people know, the ants are still up in the Tree and on the islands. For their size and numbers, they haven't caused as much damage as one might guess. They've knocked over a few stalls in the Marketplace, and a few of the homes in Sections 1 and 2 have taken hits as well. I suspect the most damage to homes was caused when the initial soldiers caught the scent of someone inside the house and tried to investigate.
Last year, they stayed for about two weeks. We'll keep checking, and update you all with any news.
(ooc: Bastet is in fact up in the Tree right now, although she's sitting in mid-air, out of reach of the ants. Last night she had Ling's dream and she is wondering what the hell she did to cause that much pain to someone who loved her that much. Checking the status of the invasion was as good a reason as any for getting some air and clearing her head.)
