I just wanted to give a few warnings regarding that new island. For those of us with unusual powers, it seems something suppresses them there; I could feel my abilities but I could no longer access them.
Also--the last time we were given a way to another world, it contained doubles of some people here as well as people who knew others of us from home. And they had all their memories. You may choose to see this as an opportunity to learn all about your past, but it's not that easy. Before, learning about yourself caused your hearing and sight to start failing; I also experienced pain in my chest and difficulty breathing. If it went on too long, you died.
I know some of you won't be able to resist exploring--so just stay alert, because it's possible that could happen again.
(ooc: Bastet went across the bridge this evening to investigate in her cat form and promptly turned back into a woman as soon as she set foot on Rivelata, due to the power dampening effect there. She can work with naked, she can work with no powers...but not both at once. So she immediately turned around and came back. XD)
