it's been a memorable month
October 8th - 14th:
Tj and i took our big trip to vegas, so he could be the best man in his cousin Don's wedding.
*we saw the BODIES exhibit, won $340 on a dollar slot machine, strolled up and down the strip with many different drinks in hand.
*saw a burlesque show with tj ("MGM Grand's Crazy Horse Paris"), went to the mojave desert (only 15 minutes outside of vegas) and smoked up inside a huge red rock canyon (that's actually what the state park was called).
*got free VIP entry into 'The Rum Jungle' (insanely fancy night club with the largest rum bar in the world, color-changing waterfalls running down the walls and chicks in giant cages hanging from the ceiling--entry courtesy of the bride's father);
*tj bought me my first bonafide string bikini;
*we walked up and down and around the las vegas strip every other night, managing to visit most of the larger casinos at least once during our 5 day stay in vegas.
and....
...so there we were on October 13th, the last night before we flew back home to gainesville...we sat together between the legs of the massive sphinx statue in front of the pyramid-shaped Luxor hotel along the vegas strip.... ....and tj got down on one knee, slid a ring onto my finger, told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and asked for my hand in marriage.
......of course, i said "YES"!!! (after a few minutes of being speechless and crying happily)
the ring is beautiful.
we're getting married sometime next year. and i couldn't be more ecastatic :)

Halloween was awesome. i went as Merv Pumpkinhead from Sandman, drank lots and lots and lots of beer. released some energy by running around naked and feeling the bon fire on my skin. feel a lot closer to a few friends. had a fucking blast!! i think that this was the best halloween party i've had. next year, i'll have a better costume... either that or we'll just have a naked party. either way, it'll be the shiz-nippy-zip-zap-zap.
