_______nightmares
So last night I accidentally fell asleep in my parent's room while watching SNL (with Tom Hanks <33333). When my dad's snoring gets to an unbelievable high my mom usually heads downstairs and sleeps in the living room because she's such a light sleeper.
Anyhow, it was about 3 in the morning when I unexpectedly woke up with a start. At first I was completely baffled by my surroundings (obviously, because I wasn't in my room). It took me about 10 minutes to realize what had happened. XD So, the house was completely silent...which is weird because I rarely wake up when nothing is actually happening...Just as I was about to drift off back to sleep (I didn't have enough energy to go back into my bed =D) I hear my dad give this weird whining noise. I just kinda laid there for a second...silently listening...occasionally stifling my giggles because it didn't seem that serious at the moment.
Then, a few moments later, it started getting bad. He began tossing and turning violently and it was freaking the hell out of me. I shook him with two frantically shaking hands until he finally woke up.
He was sweating.
When I asked what had happened in his nightmare he responded with 'someone was following me everywhere with a knife...but I couldn't see who...'
...Wow...
