Kahlua
I've been looking for this recipe for months! It's the one I made a few years ago to give to friends. Came from my mother's recipes from when I was a kid. Here goes:
Kahlua
1 qt Water
2 1/2 c Sugar
3 T Instant Coffee
1 T Vanilla
2 1/2 c. Vodka
Bring water, sugar, and coffee to a boil in a saucepan. Simmer very slowly for three hours. Mixture will be very dark and syrupy. Cool. Add vanilla and vodka. Makes seven cups.
