(no subject)
i got a voicemail from steven last night. he finally got his orders in. he won't be shipped overseas (at least not right now) so that means he won't be flying down here for leave. on the upside, he's stationed in north carolina and might be able to come down every other month or so to visit. obviously he wouldn't be just coming to visit me.. a large percentage of his time would be spent in jacksonville. that's fine.
in other news, i'm considering some changes for myself, some drastic, some not so much. we'll which ones stick, which fail, and who notices what in the coming months.
things are happening in stages for me now.. there was the stage of refusing to go to college at all, then the focused and narrow path of computer store owner, and things are opening up again.. i'm seeing that there are a lot of other things i wouldn't mind doing. almost all of them involve my own business and/or computers at some point, so i'm not losing all of my focus, i'm just becoming more open to suggestions. and like i mentioned before, i'm becoming more open to the idea of living outside of florida.
maybe i'm coming to the point where everything i thought of as "the way i want things" isn't enough any more, and i'm looking for any leaps i can take to see where i end up with something new and interesting that i hadn't considered before. not because i had ruled it out specifically, but because the path i had chosen excluded it.
