Quick update

Kevin and I went on another cruise this month, our longest and furthest from home to date. It was a 10-night Mediterranean cruise on Royal Caribbean, departing from Istanbul and docking at Haifa and Ashdod (both in Israel), Piraeus in Greece, and Kusadasi in Turkey before returning to Istanbul. I did take notes, but I don't think I have the energy to write up a detailed day-by-day account like I did for our previous cruises in 2006, 2009, and 2010. I'll work on posting some highlights from each stop, and in the meantime you can check out my photos (mostly scenery) and Kevin's (featuring actual people) on Flickr. I've only covered about half the journey in my set, but I'll upload more in the next day or two. Here's a selection from Kevin's set, in which I enjoy a Coke in Jerusalem with two friends from Montreal.

I also have job news, but I don't want to post anything official until the paperwork is all in place. HR being HR, it's taking longer than it should, but I needed time to recover from the long trip anyway!
