Busy October

We've been remarkably social this month. Skeptics in the Pub started us off on October 4 with Sean Faircloth from Secular Coalition for America giving a rousing speech. On the 9th, we attended a champagne brunch in honor of our friends Sarah and Andy, whose wedding we attended one week later on the 16th. In between, Kevin took a quick trip up to Vermont, and I finally saw Inception with my Mom. I also had a nice reunion dinner on the 13th with former co-workers from my last company. Our small group has been getting together once a year, but we're trying to make it a little more frequent and include more people.

This Saturday, we'll be attending a Pie Party at the home of our friend Jess. Kevin is doing the baking for both of us. After that it's RiffTrax Live with House on Haunted Hill on the 28th, and three days later we'll see Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett live for real as part of w00tstock. We may or may not be wearing costumes inspired by this RiffTrax short.

And in the midst of all that, I joined a gym, turned down a job offer, and played Sparkle incessantly.
