A weight off my shoulders
To be more accurate, it's a weight off my head. I got a haircut on Friday and had a significant amount chopped off. We're talking a chin-length bob, not a pixie cut, but it's as short or shorter than it has been in my adult life.
I should have done this much earlier in the Summer, but I was still holding out hope that I might put together a costume for Dragon*Con that would have required long hair. I had to give up on that idea for several reasons, but maybe I'll resurrect it for next year...and maybe I'll wear a wig.
