yeah. so i feel like an idiot. me, the girl who played varsity sports throughout high school, is failing archery. fuuck. really, it's not because of my skill because i'm semi-decent, but it's my lack of motivation and my numerous absences in the class. so i get to flunk. i'm flunking my first college class. bad bad bad bad. ooh. so i guess i'm just going to re-take it next year and owe my parents like $300+ (however much one credit hour costs)...ugh. idiot.

saturday was quite the adventure into downtown detroit. always amusing, detroit is. we got lost right off of i-75 while heading to mexican town and ended up passing obscenely close to central station. not to be poetic, but just sitting there, watching it loom in the dark gave me absolute chills. it's so gorgeous and mysterious, yet it has become a wasteland. what i would give to go inside of there. goddamn fences, security, and insane homeless people. :/ i love passing by that glorious building. i wish i could have experienced the wonder of it in its heyday.
classes are pretty much planned out for me. summer classes are going to be interesting. virtual anthropology course! eek. i wonder how that's going to go. and i'm taking astronomy so i can get rid of another one of those blasted gen eds. evil.
