It is 77 degrees on November 14th
My CSA starts next week. This is strange to me that I will be getting this STARTING in November. It is good, however, because this will bring even more routine and normalcy to my life. I am adjusting. I had some extra money with Friday's paycheck and I was able to get some food into my cupbords. This is reassuring. I can make some thing. Publix has weekly BOGO specials, of which I am taking advantage. I am going to the International Book Fair next week to see John Waters speak. I am settling into my job, which is becoming a lot less stressful(excpet for the person who patronizes me every time she speaks to me.) I am still weirded out that it is not getting colder. I see facebook status updates about snow, and I keep thinking that it is only time before it reaches me here. This will not happen. Sure, I will be going to Wisconsin for Christmas, but I will be able to leave the snow behind to return home. This is my home, at least for the time being,and every day it seems more and more like it.
